Luca Moglia is a Counsel at Pistochini Avvocati, specialising in white-collar crime, corporate criminal liability and compliance. He represents companies, organisations and individuals in criminal investigations and proceedings, and advises businesses on the prevention and management of criminal risk.
His practice focuses on workplace health and safety and industrial accidents, environmental crime, corporate and insolvency offences, tax crime, offences involving public authorities, cybercrime and data protection-related offences. He also has extensive experience advising on corporate liability under Italy’s Legislative Decree No. 231/2001.
In addition to his contentious practice, Luca advises Italian and international businesses on the design and implementation of compliance programmes, corporate governance arrangements and delegations of authority in health, safety and environmental matters. His work also covers whistleblowing frameworks and internal investigations. He regularly supports independent supervisory bodies established under Legislative Decree No. 231/2001, as well as boards and internal control functions.
Luca has particular experience working with clients in the industrial, manufacturing, rail, energy and services sectors, including on cross-border matters and in dealings with judicial and regulatory authorities.
He graduated with honours from the University of Trento, where he wrote his dissertation on private-sector bribery (supervisor: Professor A. Melchionda). Before entering private practice, he completed a judicial traineeship at the Court of Milan.
Luca joined Pistochini Avvocati in 2020 and is admitted to the Milan Bar.
